At the 2024 Emmys on January 15, Edebiri stunned in a custom strapless Louis Vuitton piece. The black 3D pleated balloon-style leather dress was a statement piece that got people talking. She completed the outfit with Brilliant Earth diamond studs, a tennis necklace, an emerald-shaped diamond eternity ring, and black heel sandals. The look earned Ayo a top spot as one of the best-dressed of the night.

Critics Choice:
Ayo Edebiri had an outstanding moment at the 2023 Critics Choice Awards in a Thom Browne monochrome ensemble. The star showed up in a cropped mini-skirt suit with a cascading cape paired with a sheer white shirt and velvet wine corset. She nailed the retro-edgy look with her black net-striped socks on Mary Jane pumps. The layered styling gives a playful twist on classic suits, and I call it a daring and successful execution.

The semi-sheer sleeveless dress in floral velvet and an asymmetrical hem stole the spotlight at the event. With a hip drape detail, high neck, side slit, and low back, the intriguing style brings a sophisticated and dramatic style to the BAFTAs.

Golden Globes:
In the spirit of Ayo winning Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy TV Series award at this year’s Golden Globe, let’s throw it back to her 2023 Golden Globes outfit. She wore a Rosie Assoulin two-piece set featuring a structured crop top and ball skirt in pastel blue and added beige-coloured gloves to the outfit for some drama. She also accessorised with Brilliant Earth’s Alessandra lab diamond earrings and Harvest diamond rings. Walking around with over five carats of diamonds compliments Ayo’s star power, and we’re not jealous at all. I love that this outfit was risky and different, a beautiful vision that gave us a topic for days.
- Glamour Awards: At the 2023 Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards, Ayo Edebiri opted for a structured, orange mini Prada dress. It is an outfit she can pull from her wardrobe when she wants a cute look. Paired with black pumps and long curly hair, it was just the simple, true-to-theme dress we needed to see.
