Natural hair care brand under Revlon’s umbrella. Known for her ability to captivate audiences on-screen and on stage. Palmer will now use her storytelling prowess to reshape the brand’s identity and connect with a new generation of textured hair consumers.
A personal connection
Speaking to Women’s Wear Daily. Palmer shared that the partnership feels personal. “I grew up with Creme of Nature—it was always in my family and my community,” she explained, reflecting on her hair journey that included a transformative 2017 “big chop” when she decided to embrace her natural curls fully.
Shaping brand identity
In her new role, Palmer won’t just be a figurehead—her focus will be on updating messaging, packaging, and marketing strategies to keep the brand culturally relevant. Chandra Coleman, head of marketing at Revlon, praised Palmer’s influence, saying her authentic voice will be key to staying ahead in the competitive beauty space.
Creme of Nature, founded in 1976. Has been a staple in textured hair care for decades, and Palmer’s involvement marks a fresh direction for the brand, which aims to resonate with both loyal customers and younger audiences. “It’s about taking a legacy brand and bringing it back to the forefront,” Palmer said, emphasising her excitement about bridging generational gaps through her work.
A new chapter for Revlon
This appointment also signals a new chapter for Revlon. Which has been on a path to recovery after emerging from bankruptcy. The company has been making bold moves, including appointing TikTok star Nailea Devora as a global ambassador. Participating in New York Fashion Week alongside designer Christian Siriano.
