Angel Obasi understands how to turn a look and with #TheLook, you can too

In the years since she started influencing, Angel has diversified her portfolio, leveraging her reputation as one of the best creators in the fashion space to launch and sustain 3 businesses that allow her share her passions with her community: An eponymous accessory brand The Style Connaisseur, a content production company, a furniture company, Space Between Design and she is about to launch another accessory label, Anchiel, modeled after her love for hats.

Angel preaches the gospel of how minding one’s business makes the journey easier in the creative industry. Her big tip is to focus on improving your craft while building the right relationships and the big gigs will follow. 

For our first episode of MCN’s The Look , the MCN show where we delve deep into the relationship influencers have with clothes and how they find new ways to share this love with their audiences, Angel takes the reins and shares with us her favorite outfit from the 2022 Lagos Fashion Week from Nigerian designer and her long time collaborator, Cynthia Abila. She tells us how the idea came to life, the surprises from the designer who was also showcasing at the LFW and in MCN’s sustainability fashion, how to re-style the outfit in other fabulous ways for other events.

Style Connaisseur NeutralsEven with neutrals, we still get a pop of color. The baggy trend isn’t just perfect on denims but pants in general. They have a great appeal that just works when worn right.
