The Hilary Says store launch marks a new era for skincare and beauty product knowledge in Lagos

Hilary Says steps into a new chapter with the launch of its flagship store opening today.

Opening this Sunday, 15 February 2026, in Lekki Phase 1, the Hilary Says flagship store marks a defining new chapter for cosmetic scientist Hilary Taiwo and the community she has cultivated online. After years of engaging digital skincare conversations rooted in science, clarity, and trust, Hilary now brings that dialogue into a physical space designed for learning, discovery, and connection. She is transforming her education-first platform into an immersive retail experience where her expertise meets the community in real time.

The launch is set to be a celebration of community and curiosity, offering guests the chance to interact with the products, ask questions, and experience Hilary’s expertise firsthand. It’s a moment to see the brand’s vision come alive, blending education, trust, and thoughtful skincare in one vibrant space.

Hilary Taiwo, a British-Nigerian cosmetic scientist with over 16 years of experience in the beauty industry, is the founder of Hilary Says. She began her career in makeup artistry before moving into cosmetic research and development. She later earned a degree in Cosmetic Science from the London College of Fashion at the University of the Arts London.

Her career includes time at Procter & Gamble, where she created formulas for brands such as Max Factor, CoverGirl and Dolce & Gabbana Beauty. She also collaborated with heritage names, including Lancôme and Clarins.

In 2016, she founded Hilary Says, a skincare retailer built around targeted solutions, product safety and science-backed effectiveness. What sets the brand apart is its carefully curated products designed to address specific skin concerns, grounded in formulation expertise rather than trends.

A flagship store designed for discovery and connection

Located at 14B Ogbunike Street, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, the new Hilary Says flagship is designed as an open, interactive environment rather than a traditional retail setting. Guests are invited to move freely, explore curated products, engage directly with the team, and experience knowledgeable skincare education.

The launch event encourages organic conversation, product discovery, and community creation. There will be light refreshments, and direct access to Hilary and her team for any questions. The opening of this store is a community celebration, bringing skincare enthusiasts and curious newcomers together to learn, explore, and connect over science-backed beauty.

This approach positions Hilary Says as more than a retailer. It establishes the brand as a trusted skincare authority, a destination where knowledge is readily available and easy to access.

The launch also celebrates Hilary Says’ trusted brand partners, including La Roche-Posay, Replenix, Vaseline, Sesderma, CeraVe, Eucerin, Mesoestetic, Uncover, Bioderma, and 25 PSKYN — all contributing to a curated selection designed to educate and address diverse skin needs.

In a beauty market often driven by aesthetics alone, Hilary Says is doubling down on education. And with its flagship opening, Lagos gains not just another store — but a space dedicated to informed skincare, thoughtful discovery, and community-led growth.

Skincare lovers won’t want to miss this moment — the Hilary Says flagship store opening promises an immersive experience. This is the perfect chance to see science-backed skincare come to life.
