Inem, a 33-year-old Journalist and Communications Specialist, says she owes her start in the industry to Olamide Olarewaju. She share that Olamide took a chance on her despite her lack of professional experience. “I walked into Pulse office with no professional experience, met with Olamide who was an editor at the time and left with a few writing tasks. I submitted later and that marked the beginning of my career,” she recalls.
Today, Inem has worked with top media houses and agencies in Nigeria and is forever grateful to the woman who helped kickstart it all.
