The lights are up, the IJGBs are trooping in, and the city is becoming more vibrant. This could only mean that it’s Detty December season.
As we all know, the season is marked by endless parties and energetic live concerts from your faves. So, if you are new to the concert scene or a seasoned attendee wondering where all the concerts are happening, you should take a look at our list.
From Chike to Shallipopi, this December promises to be the “dettiest” of them all.

The lineup features talented women, including Simi, Teni, Tiwa Savage, Niniola, Yemi Alade, Waje, Dope Caesar, and more. Be sure to show up and support these incredible women artists financially!
The Jiggy Concert by Young John
Young John has kept us on our toes all year round. And just like you, we can’t get his songs out of our heads. If you feel his songs deep down inside your liver, imagine how much more you would feel at his concert at The Palms on December 17, 2023. ‘Tis the season to get jiggy!
Sincerely, BNXN, Live in Concert
BNXN has come a long way from uploading the most hilarious tweets to topping the music charts.
Since releasing his popular collaboration, “Feelings”, with Ladipoe, he has brought music to our ears. Now, he has created something magical for your eyes!
Get a chance to encounter BNXN on December 18, 2023, at The Palms Mall. Sincerely, this is a concert you don’t want to miss.
An Intimate Night with Adekunle Gold
There are many things we love about Adekunle Gold: his style, his relationship with Simi, his beautiful daughter, Deja and many more. But his music holds a special place in our hearts. The industry has watched him transform from Adekunle Gold to AG Baby, and now you get to experience both artists for the price of one.
So, if you have missed the Orente Adekunle Gold and still really love Ogaranya AG Baby, The Palms Lagos is where you want to be on December 22, 2023. The party starts at 5 pm and does not stop even if Mama calls.
Shallipopi, Road 2 Pluto
Pluto is active this season. He is so active that you get to see him perform live at The Palms Lagos on December 23, 2023. If you spent the year yelling, “Inside that your evian, another evian dey inside,” you want to experience Shallipopi live with your fellow ecstatic Plutomanias. The show kicks off at 5 pm.
Chike Live: Music, Money & Love
Since the release of his debut album, “Boo of the Booless,” Chike has excelled in being the lover boy for single ladies. He constantly serenades us with his soulful love songs, and it is no wonder he is a familiar face at weddings. For a cosy night out with your significant other or friends, you should be running to Hard Rock Café on December 24, 2023. The gates open at 7 p.m.
Rockfest 3.0
As the saying goes, ‘Ain’t no party like a Jesus party!’ Rockfest is a celebration of Afro Gospel.
