Beyoncé parfums returns with Cé Lumière: a new scent from the queen

Beyoncé is back in the fragrance game, and the Hive has been buzzing. A year after the release of Cé Noir, a scent loosely tied to her Renaissance album, the global icon has announced a follow-up fragrance: Cé Lumière.

Now available for pre-order on Beyoncé’s official website, with shipping slated to begin in November.  Cé Lumière promises a sensory experience with notes of black pepper, patchouli, jasmine, and musk. While further details about the inspiration behind the fragrance remain under wraps, the name – Lumière (French for “light”) – and the illuminated visuals of the bottle hint at a connection to the sun and radiance.

A busy year for Beyoncé

Beyoncé has been on a roll this year, making waves not just in music but across industries. In February, she unveiled Cécred, her curl-focused hair care line. In August, she entered the spirits market with SirDavis, a whiskey brand created in collaboration with Moët Hennessy. As if that wasn’t enough, September saw her partner with Levi’s, blending fashion and music with nods to her song “Levii’s Jeans.”

A growing fragrance empire

This isn’t Queen Bey’s first foray into fragrances. She debuted Heat in 2010, which became a massive hit and spawned multiple variations. Including Heat Rush and Heat Wild Orchid. However, with the release of Cé Noir in 2023 – her first fragrance in a decade – it’s clear that Beyoncé’s perfume empire is just getting started.

Now, with Cé Lumière on the horizon, it seems Beyoncé parfums are setting the stage for annual releases, hinting that the celebrity fragrance resurgence is alive and thriving. Get ready – it looks like 2024 will end on a fragrant note.
