We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Business Development & Sales Manager to lead our expansion efforts and drive revenue growth. You will be instrumental in shaping and executing strategies that deliver long-term value, forge powerful client relationships, and elevate the brand’s financial performance.

We are especially focused on growing our footprint across Africa and the diaspora, and are looking for someone with the foresight and agility to cultivate opportunities across these key markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a growth strategy focused on both revenue generation and client satisfaction.

Features Editor

We’re seeking an experienced and visionary Features Editor to join our dynamic editorial team. This pivotal role requires a keen editorial eye, a deep understanding of cultural nuances, and a passion for crafting compelling, original features that resonate with our audience.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in shaping a diverse, informative, and inspiring features category that captures the bold, elegant, and unapologetically African voice of Marie Claire Nigeria. You will be a critical thinker, capable of independent leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and bringing fresh, forward-thinking narratives to life across our digital platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the editorial team to define and execute the overarching features strategy across all Marie Claire Nigeria digital platforms.
  • Lead the conceptualization and development of high-quality, well-researched feature stories that align with the brand’s values and appeal to our core audience.
  • Generate and assign creative story ideas to in-house writers, freelancers, and other contributors, ensuring a consistent flow of engaging content.
  • Edit and proofread a wide range of feature articles, ensuring clarity, accuracy, factual authenticity, and adherence to Marie Claire’s editorial standards.
  • Establish and maintain publication goals and standards, ensuring all features comply with ethical codes and legal guidelines.

  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in features editing, with a track record of conceptualizing and delivering high-impact content.
